On Thursday 26th November, three of our eco-councillors took part in the ‘Sustainable Schools’ day at Annables Farmschool. It was held as part of Sustainable St. Albans Week and the idea was to get pupils thinking about how their school could become more sustainable and how they could spread the sustainability message.
Clara S.-F., Max L. and Eddie R. took part in three workshops over the course of the day on the topics of food and farming, food waste and Fairtrade footballs. The pupils were a credit to the school and it was lovely to see their enthusiasm and to listen to their ideas for encouraging greater sustainability at Roundwood.
