Headteacher’s Welcome

Here at Roundwood Primary our learning environment will engage and challenge the children, not only to achieve their full potential, but also to enjoy and develop a thirst for learning with our relevant and inspiring curriculum. Through the Arts and Humanities, alongside the development of confidence and competence in Maths, English and Science, children learn to take pride in themselves as individuals, recognising the importance of their learning and development through the school’s motto of ‘To Learn To Live Together’.      At Roundwood Primary we strive to ensure that our school is a place where children can feel safe, will experience a sense of pride in their achievements and where children can develop and refine their social, communication and interpersonal skills as well as their physical and emotional wellbeing.

We are proud of our whole staff team and our wider school community; every member of which is collectively and individually committed to providing the highest quality learning experiences for every child, utilising modern facilities and resources.

Parents and carers play a very important part of school life, and we value our partnership with them. We all share responsibility for the children’s education, and we look forward to working closely together in their best interests. We encourage parents to become involved in all aspects of school life, so that, as partners, we can promote high standards of learning, behaviour and attitudes to enable every child to reach their full potential.
